The Canadian Association of Piano Technicians in Quebec City
It was beautiful day spent with the members of the Canadian Association of Piano Technicians last May 29th. The day started with a guided tour by André Bolduc at the saw mill, demonstrating the famous quarter sawn cut on Maple logs. The visit was followed by a complete tour of the Bolduc piano soundboard and pinblock factory. The rest of the day was spent on a LIVE demonstration of a Steinway and Sons grand piano pinblock installation, all done admirably by Christian Bolduc. With the sun shining, the day ended with a home-made meal outside on the back-yard. It was a wonderful occasion for Canadian technicians from all parts of the country to socialize and share their passion for pianos.
